Gaby Prato

Gaby brings an educator’s perspective to her role as School Program Engagement Strategist at Green Our Planet. Since joining the organization in 2019, she has helped schools get more from their programs through coaching, communications, events, and hands-on support—building relationships with teachers and helping them find solutions along the way.

Gaby also helps bring some of Green Our Planet’s largest shared experiences to life. She serves as a school liaison for the Nevada Giant Student Farmers Markets, supports Compassionate Gardens field trips, and coordinates community initiatives such as United Way’s Day of Caring Garden Refreshes.

Before Green Our Planet, Gaby was a Pre-K teacher at Southern Highlands Preparatory School. One of her favorite classroom projects invited students to learn to write their names to earn the responsibility of watering and caring for their own plants each morning. Seeing their excitement as they connected with nature helped shape the work she does today.

For Gaby, success means helping educators turn Green Our Planet programs into an inspiring, hands-on part of everyday school culture.
