Jacob Ginn

Jacob’s journey with Green Our Planet began as an intern while studying at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After joining the team full time in 2022, he grew into his current role as Senior Coordinator of Hydroponics, Gardens & Logistics, helping support 222 school hydroponics and outdoor garden programs as well as a growing number of community and workplace partners.

Jacob brings together technical expertise, education, and logistics—from leading hydroponics trainings and developing resources to managing inventory, quality-checking systems, and coordinating program shipments. He especially enjoys working directly with partners to help them feel confident and successful with their growing systems.

Jacob also played an important role in launching Green Our Planet’s Community and Workplaces programs in 2025, coordinating the fulfillment of 196 tabletop hydroponic units and supply kits for partners including WIC, the Nevada Department of Corrections, and the Emeril Lagasse Foundation.

Outside of work, Jacob enjoys hiking and gaming—and has helped care for his family’s desert tortoises since he was seven years old.
