Nehemia Prophett

As Senior Gardener | Garden Quality & Systems Lead, Nehemia combines hands-on garden care with a talent for creating systems that help the work run smoothly. He tends school gardens and orchards across Clark County, works directly with students and teachers, and supports fellow farmers in keeping growing spaces healthy and ready for learning.

Nehemia especially enjoys bringing gardens that need a little extra care back to life. He’s helped revitalize several school sites while also strengthening the systems behind the scenes—from managing garden support requests and data to coordinating materials and resources.

Before joining Green Our Planet, Nehemia spent a decade at the Oasis at Death Valley, where he managed purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, and logistics. One of his favorite projects was building workflows and databases that made procurement and deliveries more efficient—experience that continues to shape his thoughtful, systems-minded approach today.

Outside of work, Nehemia is an art crafter and wilderness survival enthusiast.
