Samantha West

Sam joined Green Our Planet in 2018 and leads the development and evolution of GROW, the organization’s digital learning platform. Her work spans digital product development, educator support, content and communications, and emerging AI initiatives—connecting ideas and teams across Green Our Planet to create better experiences for the teachers and students they serve.

At the heart of Sam’s work is listening. She’s energized by hearing directly from educators and turning their feedback into useful features, resources, and experiences that support teaching and learning. Among the projects she’s most proud of is helping launch and expand SEED Tank, Green Our Planet’s student entrepreneurship program, where young innovators develop and pitch solutions to real-world challenges.

With a background in professional & technical writing and digital design from Utah Tech University, Sam brings both creative and technical thinking to her work.

Outside of Green Our Planet, you’ll likely find her reading, knitting, or scouting out a new coffee shop in Salt Lake City.
